Sure, they're cute now. But wait until the evening's over and they've eaten all that candy....Tomorrow is Halloween. Most of you already know this having purchased (or God bless you, made) costumes for one or more little ones. It's a night for sweets and fantasy and good times. And with that in mind, don't you think the delights of the evening should extend beyond the time you tuck your little, sugar-fiend babies into bed?
Well, I certainly do.
So what will you "be" for Halloween this year? Please don't tell me you're going as "the parent." Yawn. BORING!!! This is the one night of the year that no one will think twice to see you dressed up as something exotic and dare I say, sexy? And with the internet, it's SO easy to find something simple and sexy.

This year Mr. Foxy and I will be heading out to an adult-only Halloween party. An old friend of mine throws one religiously every year and it's always been a way for those of us from the old neighborhood to reconnect and have a few drinks and a lot of laughs. The little foxes are all stoked to be staying the night with their grandparents and Mr. Foxy and I are all ready to go out and paint the town red.
Get it, paint the town red. Like my cape. Anyone? *crickets chirping*Oh aren't I pun-a-liciuos? Yes, I'll be going as Little Red Riding Hood this year and Mr. Foxy will be going as the Big, Bad Wolf. Tee-hee!

Yes, it's true, UYP and I are going to be putting our Friday Shenanigans on hold for the month of November. What with us both doing NaNoWriMo, we won't have time for much else (side note: if you're doing NaNoWriMo to, friend us!!! Our author names are: One Pushy Fox & uhyesplease). Well besides In The Blood, Destiny, OPF's New Moon post on The Danger Magnet, and MmmmmMondays of course. Anyway, we hope you'll understand and we'll be back at the weekend madness before you know it.
And with that I'll leave you with this thought...how does a mild-mannered housewife turn into a wolf-taming, super-hot, red-hooded vixen? With A LOT of make-up. Oh, dear. I really should have thought this one out, hunh?

STY - I certainly couldn't look worse than the day I took it! I didn't get to do my hair or put on any makeup that day. YIKES, indeed! I tried the costume on, though, and it fits. So....here's hoping I don't look too embarrassing. Not that it will stop me from posting the pictures, obviously, but I'd like to keep a modicum of pride. Just a smidge really. :)
Hey now, that is one smexy costume! You must post pics for sure, lady! I'm off to look for my costume now. I want to be a geisha. :D

@Annie - You will be GORGEOUS as a geisha! You have to get a paper parasol to go with your outfit. They're super cute and if anyone besides the BF gets too frisky with you they double nicely as a weapon. :)
