Doing some good and looking good doing it!

Yesterday was Earth Day.

So it got me thinking.

I like green things.

Like fresh air.

And clean water.

And Ashley Green:

Oh yes, she is hot! But she's also sweet. She's involved in a charity called Donate My Dress.

It's a lovely charity that helps girls who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford a Prom Dress. She's so incredibly sweet!

But Ashley's not the only Twi-star involved in charity work.

There's Kellan...

Ooops! I meant this Kellan...

who not only believes in adopting animals
but works with families and children who have suffered abuse.

And then there's Peter...

Gosh darnet...THIS Peter...

who we all know is a committed family man and all around nice guy
but also came out to support a not-for-profit organization called
Milk and Bookies that teaches children
how great it feels to give back
while celebrating the love of a good book.

And then there's Christian Serratos....

PETA seriously never looked so good!

By my all time favorite good work has to go to Rachelle Lefevre....

Isn't she adorable???

And, she gives blood. Ironic in light of Twilight, no?

But, if you can, you should
SERIOUSLY
consider giving blood.

I donate blood about six times a year
and have for the past decade.

It's the EASIEST form of charity you can do,
it takes about 30 minutes and

It's as close to being a hero as I ever hope to be.

So be someone's hero.
Go give blood.
Or share your time at a food bank.
Or donate your old clothes to good will.

If for no other reason than it means that you'll be in some fairly attractive company!

yay! love these pics and such a great idea!

I wish i could give blood too - but i have terrible veins...the people fight over who has to stick me, and in the end i cry more than they do and leave with a ginormous bruise. So I don't go anymore. But my mom has given gallons and gallons and gallons.

<3 u, Pushy!!!
