Now, on to a review.
I tried, again, to find a K-T story that I liked and failed. And *sheepish grin* I didn't try THAT hard...because I've been reading...another....book....
I know, I KNOW! I promise I'll get back to killing my eyes staring a screen for four hours straight, but you know? It's cold in this house, and my bed is so comfy AND I got two new books at the library.
One of these was Lament: The Faerie Queen's Deception by Maggie Stiefvater. This book was recced to me by Erikasbuddy - she hadn't read it yet, but asked if I had. And I added it to my hold list. Yes, I was once again hooked in by the cover.
I devoured it in three hours.
Wow.
Here's a brief description:

First off - this is a good summary until I see the 'Grades 9-12'. Dude, they say 'FUCK' in it - as in "Hurry up and fuck her!" Uh - I'm pretty sure I didn't get to read books with fuck in them at my high school. Ok, yes, I know - that's the grade level it's appropriate for, not a suggestion to read it in Language Arts, but still!
